Current Movies - Thumbs UP or Thumbs DOWN

I went and saw Allegiant last night. I would give it 2 1/2 stars out of five, (and that's being generous.) The plot was weak, "David" was getting on my nerves, and Tris just didn't seem like the strong and capable heroine she is in the books. On the plus side, the special effects and explosions were nice.

special effects and explosions are always nice

I never really cared for Batman or Superman movies, so wouldn't go see this one anyway. Marvel keeps trotting out obscure comic heroes intent on making a fortune off of each one. I think the public will get wise, and Marvel will tank.
I agree.

I'm not surprised. I loved the first one, but the second one was disappointing. I will still probably see it on DVD.

Yeah, I agree, Insurgent and Allegiant both didn't do justice to the books they were based on. I did like the first one very much, and got it on DVD for my birthday last year.

I'm not sure if any of you watch "Star Wars Rebels" but yesterday's season 2 finale was just, just........wow! I grew up watching Star Wars: The Clone Wars as a kiddo, so as soon as Rebels came out in 2014 I started to watch it and fell in love with the diverse characters that make up the Ghost crew.

This season finale was so jam packed I don't even know where to begin. Lol. Darth Maul is back, the Seventh Sister and Fifth Brother were killed, Ezra is tempted by the dark side, Kanan is blinded by Maul, ( :hit ) and there was the highly anticipated Vader Vs. Ahsoka fight. I literally starting crying as soon as Ahsoka told Vader, "I won't leave you again." Echoing the choice she made in season five of The Clone Wars to leave the Jedi order after being falsely accused of bombing the Jedi temple. It was a heart racing, tear jerking, episode. 10/10 stars!

I rewatched "Best in Show" last night. I love that movie. I can imagine if they redid it with "chicken people" instead of "dog people"

I have many animals of different types and have been on forums for all of them. I can imagine hilarity from all of the "groups", cat people, fish people, bunny people......

oh yes. I have my chickens, but Lucille Bunn is still my number one.

My husband thinks I'm nuts, I'm sure. I know many of my friends do. Do you find that your friends call on you whenever they know of an animal you love needs a home? Every time someone I know sees/hears about a bunny or chicken needing to be-rehomed, I'm the first person they call.
