Out here if you leave in the first20 minutes of the movie playing you can get a refund. I only did that once with a Quentin Tarentino (Sp??) movie, forgot the name but it was hideous.
Manager still gave me trouble but, I prevailed. Not nice to lie to the Diva.

There's only one movie I wanted to walk out on and if I'd been on my own, I would have, but my friend didn't want to. It was some awful thing with Kevin Costner about revenge or something. I don't even want to look it up to be reminded of it. It was a stinker.

Has anyone got any ideas about a movie called The Time of their Lives with Joan Collins and Pauline Collins? I saw the trailer on tv this morning, it looked ok, reviews are pretty bad, but I'm thinking I might see it. I like those sort of "daggy" type of movies and I can use my points to see it for free.

I knew when. I used a rather serious profanity when suggesting we should leave. Last night the Princess told me, "I didn't appreciate your use of 'that' word."

Dark Tower. Rent at Redbox, yes, see at the theater, not really worth it. Not as good as the book (daughter read it and we went to see it).
If you knew nothing about the book... then it was an OK movie and that is why I would rent for $1 at Redbox

thank you for your opinions tigger. Thinking of the "Hitman's Bodyguard" next week with Ryan Reynolds and Samuel Jackson. Supposed to be very funny ???? Who knows my sense of humor doesn't seem to mesh with la-de-dah movie critics.

PS our Redbox went up to $1.50. Our Sunday newspaper ( with store coupons) went from $ 3. to $ 5. So not getting a paper this weekend.
