Current Movies - Thumbs UP or Thumbs DOWN

Forgot my "Thor, Raganok" or rock & roll, some name like that. The first two movies very played serious and boring. This THOR movie (3rd.one) is full of fun , my brother knew nothing about Thor - it didn't matter he loved it. And his friends at work loved it.
And my bus driver loved it.
I did too but, was disappointed that Loki didn't get to pull any of his tricks and Idris did next to nothing and they gave him yellow eyes - duh!!!!

BTW I was googling and found a youtube video of Loki when he wasn't being Loki -forgot his real name but, probably will figure it out soon. He is a fantastic dancer, who knew?? He also can imitate the voice of some celebrities. He was so much fun to watch.

I think his name is Tom something.....

Tom Hiddleston. He looks SO different in real life! I just can't get over it.

I loved the first two Thor movies; especially the first one.:love If that's the case I'm super excited to see Raganok. :celebrate

You take Idris. I'll take Mr. Hemsworth. I hugged a cardboard cutout of Jason Momoa the other day when I was in the city. He plays Aquaman. I have no shame.:lau

Thanks Wicked, I just googled and found out his last name. Hiddleston of course' He also starred in an older movie "Only Lovers Left Alive," as a very depressed, musician, vampire.

Go to youtube and put in "Tom Hiddleston " dancing. What a surprise! Yes, he looks so different, and is so vivacious - I've seen him in many dreary roles- great to find out he is totally different. I think I am in love, yet again!!:love

He's seems like such a cool dude. I've been watching clips of the Graham Norton show and have seen some of him on there...lol.:wee

He obviously enjoys dancing. I was surprised when I first saw him in real life after only seeing him as Loki. I had no idea he was naturally fair.

They filmed that Ragnorak down here. Chris and Tom were filmed on the first day of filming in all of their "gear". It was a bit of an "event" for the Gold coast (or wherever that movie studio is, somewhere over in Queensland)

I saw another TV 'bit' about Chris. His personal trainer is his best friend since he was 4 years old.

Saw "Wonder" on Thursday - good entertainment. Today against my better judgement we say "LBJ". I was pleasantly surprised. Woody Harrelson was great as LBJ, and the movie was entertaining and informative. I now have a slightly different perspective on Harrelson and LBJ.

Loved "Wonder" - saw it this morning and was surprised to see so many people already seated when we entered the auditorium. Usually there are just a dozen or so people in the theatre with us for morning shows. At the end many people clapped, me too.

Alot of kids present but, well behaved and I think paying a lot of attention. Just noticed I seem to have accidentally activated "underlining" I hope if I leave this thread it will be gone when I come right back. When I purposedly tried to underline it never worked.
Computers can be downright scary.

Watched "Jim and Andy" on Netflix. A large part of it is footage shot when Jim Carrey was playing the role of the late Andy Kaufman for the 1999 movie, "Man on the Moon." If you have a problem with either Jim Carrey or Andy Kaufman, you probably wouldn't care for this film, but it's an interesting look at how an actor can get so immersed in a character that he seems to lose himself, and maybe loses his grip on reality for a while.

Is anyone else going to see the new Star Wars when it starts? I've already got a ticket.
They've got advance screenings of one called "the man who invented christmas" about Charles Dickens writing "a christmas carol'. Doesn't look too bad.

My son will be coming in for the holiday and we head for whatever Star Wars thingie is at the show. I can't stand Star Wars but, my brother and son love it. Have to be a good sport since they put up with my movies
