If you plan to see Tenet, plan to be confused. No other way around it. My advice for anyone is to watch it with the subtitles on and watch it at about 3/4 speed. The dialogue in this movie runs FAST. Almost like someone told christopher nolan he cant have a movie 5 hours long and he refused to cut anything so instead sped up any dialogue scenes. This movie is a long and arduous tale of confusion that leaves you either confused or with a simple understanding of something unclear. I was bored with this film for the first hour and fell asleep. We picked it up where my fiancee left off with about an hour left and he filled me in with the details and I finally felt it watchable. It is good once you finally know what is going on but dont plan on knowing anything until about an hour and a half in

Its like if Back To The Future 2 and Looper had a baby, that baby grew up, took steroids and adrenaline and then rebuilt the deloran into a revolving door. We had to pause the movie several times just to say to each other wait, what just happened?

I liked the movie but it was hard to keep track of the different time lines.

I gave a similar review back on Page 455. Glad to know I'm not the only one wallowing in confundity with this one!

I cannot recommend viewing this movie enough! SUPERB in every aspect. Captivating story, another fine performance by Tom Hanks, gorgeous scenery (thank you, New Mexico! And not a single studio shot), and a sublimely perfect performance by the child co-star.

The only cons to the movie is it'll make you realize what cinematic crap you've been watching.

Western, action, few cuss words. Out on Redbox now.

Mulan the live action remake

Ok so I'm sure there might be some disagreements here but this is literally the only remake I have enjoyed. It stayed with the classic story I was told with added elements and no songs. I missed the songs but based on other remakes I'm glad they were absent. It was the only live action remake I've been able to sit through without abandoning and turning on the original thus far

So funny, I didn’t know which movie you were talking about as it wasn’t in this post, but your description made me guess Tenet, so your description is right on the money! I think it needs to be seen several times to really get it and enjoy it.
