I've had a guy who runs a small rescue "working on me" to take one of his cats, but they are young and I only wanted an older one....

I could theoretically get another dog, but I think I'll stick to one. I just HOPE I don't see anyone online that gets me thinking otherwise. Other than that, I'm full to capacity, so there's no point trying to get me to take on more LOL

I must confess to "working" on other people to adopt animals I've come across. I got a work colleague to adopt a cat I'd seen online.

yep. capacity here, too. Although, I really want a bunny boyfriend for Lucy. But, since we just realized DH is likely allergic to the rabbit AND the chickens, that won't be happening.
 
I remember the" Best in Show" movie, my brother thought it was very funny but, I had shown dogs & worked for a dog handler, etc. It was supposed to be a parody, BUT I knew real life characters like that and more, which is why I got out of the business.
 
Okay my brother gave "Eye in the Sky," 3.5 stars, I just gave it a "feh." too few stars to count. I thought it was tedious from beginning to end. My brother said "that's the point" - rules of engagement have you bound feet , hands, mouth - I get , I get it But not worth paying for two tickets to be bored out of my mind.

I'm sorry I would not recommend this movie to anyone unless it was free. Then you aren't obligated to see it start to finish.
 
"The Hateful Eight" is classic Tarantino. A kind of detective western told in chapters with tight dialogue and lots of tongue-in-cheek splatter (Quentin's trademark). Cast of a lot of previous Tarantino stars: Kurt Russell, Samuel Jackson, Jennier Jason Leigh, Walton Goggins, Tatum Channing, Bruce Dern, Michael Madsen, Tim Roth and a host of others.

In the wake of a blizzard, several bounty hunters and their captives hole up in a stage coach stop and wait out the storm and each other's treachery. Not so much a who-done-it as a who-is-it and then who'll-survive-it. Scenic beauty of Telluride, Colorado, provides the snowy landscapes.

If you enjoyed previous Quentin Tarantino movies, then by all means indulge in this one as it is well-crafted. If you're not a fan, you'll find this particular flick long and tedious.

Batman V Superman was pretty good! It was as much as I expected it to be. It was really long (2 1/2 hours, I think) and it got slow at some parts, but was pretty good overall. I'm looking forward to the Justice League part one, as BvS set it up really nicely

ETA: I think Ben Afleck did a great job as Batman
