Current Movies - Thumbs UP or Thumbs DOWN

Saw Jurrasic World with the wife last night. We both enjoyed it thoroughly. What does it say about me that I was rooting for the dinosaurs the whole way?

Coming up is the 100th.Mission Impossible movie I think, with Tom Cruise. Plan to skip it, think he really got injured when he jumped from building to building or something. Bet he won't be doing the stunt work anymore. He should be thinking of a desk job now.
Saw both of those. Loved it!

I'll have to try it Sour. We saw "Searching." Sunday - excellent movie, takes some getting used to for at least the first half , you are seeing his internet searches on the monitor. Everything he clicks on etc. About the second half it turns into a regular movie
and is even better. My brother gave it 3.5 stars(high for him.) I gave it 4.

Was Glen Close the one who boiled the pet rabbit in a pot on the stove? Think it was "Fatal Attraction," with Michael Douglas cheating on his wife. Men never learn
Fatal Attraction was a great movie!

Anyone here see Hereditary? Amazing movie! One of the best horror films I've seen in a while.
Speaking of horror, there's a British film called "Possum" coming out soon that looks really interesting and a bit terrifying.
The remake of "Suspiria" looks bonkers good and hopefully will be a bit more coherent in the storyline than the original, though the original is visually stunning.
For weirdos like myself, I am more excited for "Mandy" than any movie possibly ever.
Plus, Jamie Lee reprising her og role in Halloween!
Hold the Dark (on Netflix in a few weeks) looks promising as well.

So, yeah. I like horror movies.

I'd only go to horror movies, if I had a nice, big and strong male companion . Guess that's why I never go to them. :idunno

As a kid used to watch "Shock theater," and scared myself into having the light on all night for months at a time. Parents didn't like that one bit.
