Cursed Waters- A Dragon RP

Vixen turned to Zephyr. Zephyr was a some years her elder, but they apparently got along well. Unlike Monarche Basalt- Vixen thought angrily, who had decided she couldn't stand the dragon.

Whisp nodded. "I'd like to come- what are those papers in your hand?"

Tide cocked her head. “Did you find anything out?” She said, grinning with pride at Starshine’s comment.

On a nearby cleft, a dragon’s head turned slightly to watch Mao fly toward the Tallcanyon House. Glancing around quickly, it snapped its wings open and pushed up into the air, flying speedily toward Mao. Soon it was but 5 feet behind him, and Mao was nearing the castle.

Vixen stepped out on the deck, breathing in the hot dry air. "It's stuffy in there!" She called to Mao, then she saw someone behind him.

Zephyr followed her up, shaking out her mane.
*mao had spotted her and was about to fly down when he noticed them watching something behind him and turned to look for himself.*

Starshine: that it seems to have a mind of it's own. These papers are just some of my personal notes I'm taking along.

“Who is that?” Zephyr asked, looking past Vixen into the fading light.

The dragon halted suddenly, right in front of Mao. “Your… Mao. Right?” She asked hesitantly.

“Where are you going?” Tide asked.

I’m assuming night is falling now, but in cloud city, the sun is seen in the sky longer.

(I think it is)

Mao: yes. Who are you, how did you know my name? *he didn't really have friends his age growing up due to his families travels, so he was sure he never met her before.*

Starshine: tallcanyon. I got you some things to go as well. *she wasn't about to leave her behind on her own.*

Ace: I'll make sure to be careful. *he backed away, but was still curious about the fire.'

The dragon backed up with her wings. “I- uh, you wouldn’t know me.” She said hesitantly. “But I’ve been watching you, sometimes, and um, someone told me your name.” She kept her eyes down, inwardly shaming herself for making the situation so awkward for herself. “But- I was just wondering, why you’ve been hanging around Tallcanyon House is much more? I thought normal dragons weren’t allowed to hang around here?”
Starshine: tallcanyon. I got you some things to go as well. *she wasn't about to leave her behind on her own.*
“What’s that?” Tide said, looking at Starshine.

When the fish finished cooking, Basalt flipped it off the grill. “There.” He said. “But be careful, it’s still hot.”

"There's my advisor mao- and someone behind him. they're talking..." Vixen said, wary. "Not a lot of people are really allowed to fly this close to tallcanyon house unless invited or it's an emergency..."
Zephyr noticed the dragon behind Mao. “Maybe their friends?” She said. “Or mates?” Then she turned to Vixen as if just realizing what she had said; “Wait- Advisor? You appointed advisor? Good! Who are they?”

*ace sniffed the fish since it smelled different now. But it was a good kinda different. He let it cool down q bit before eating some of it.*

Mao: I have friends there, that's why. *he was not sure he wanted to reveal more, it was kinda odd that she had been watching him.* how long have you been watching me now? *he was sure that he wasn't followed much, but it seemed he was wrong.*

(He has a backstop that I haven't revealed yet, more then what was in his character form)

"One of them is my very good old friend. The other is Mao, who I interviewed and he seems very trustworthy and perfect for the job."

“Oh, okay.” She said. “I was wondering if you were involved with the pupa recruitment thing? I was actually going to request and audience with the Monarche to see if I could help out with the system, when I saw you.” She ground her teeth, embarrassed. “I didn’t mean to confuse you, I just tend to keep my ears everywhere. Sorry, it’s a just a weird habit I have.” She backed up a little more. “Maybe- maybe I should go. I could come back… later.” So dumb! She thought. He doesn’t know you!
