Cursed Waters- A Dragon RP

Basalt took the stone and shuddered with satisfaction as the chillingly familiar energy swept through him.
He could feel the pull of the amethyst stone as the green Watchstone tugged against his grasp. Basalt looked up at Vixen and nodded, ready to end this.

Apollyon, seeing what was about to happen, shouted "NO!! YOU IMBECILES, THAT POWER BELONGS TO ME, AND ME ALONE!!!" As he tried a last desperate effort to use his powers to remove the stone from the monarches' talons. Strain as he might, it was impossible.

So he stepped back, to all appearances accepting his fate and preparing to meet his end.

But if one had looked closely, it would've been observed that, with a twitch of his left talon, the great red dragon had directed his power elsewhere.

Towards the cave where the Aerattl citizens were taking refuge.
Wetsar, wide eyed, swooped down towards Apollyon through the foggy rain, reaching out his talons to grab the red Enfernae.
The firescales dragon squeezed his eyes shut and with a shudder, slammed full force into Apollyon, instinctively scrabbling for purchase on his scaled back as his claws left scraping red-hot marks through the red dragon’s scales.

"AUGH!" Apollyon roared as he felt Westar hit him, slamming him back into the cliff wall behind him with his spear as his concentration was broken for a second.

Telekinetically holding him against the cliff, he reached out his other arm.

Suddenly large, bluish crystals started flying from the Aerattl cave over to where he was, collecting into a ball as more and more came to solidify it and make it progressively larger.

Westar?

Westar hit the cliff face and gasped when the breath temporarily thumped out of his lungs. The blue Enfernae thought Apollyon was holding him to the wall, when he realized he was invisibly pinned to the rock.
“Ah!” He yelped when the oxygen came back to him. He stared in fearful confusion at the gathering bluish crystals. “Whoah, hey, okay! Okay! What are you doing?” He cried in a panicked voice.

*storm was surprised to see the stones coming from the cavern. Immediately recognizing the presence stones blue iridescent shimmer.*

"By the time you find out, it will be far too late." The dragon laughed mirthlessly as more and more crystals flew together in front of his talon.

The Solosis stone, lighting up and flashing brighter and brighter, pulled Basalt with a powerful force towards the the fused watchstone, adding its power to the rest as it combined with the other three, inexplicably turning the now-large stone from a dark purple to almost pure white.

Then, suddenly, the power seemed to just die down. The stone faded from a brilliant white to a more translucent color.

Apollyon stared, shocked. He hadn't counted on that happening.
