Cursed Waters- A Dragon RP

"I'll have some Enfernae stuff, I guess!" Afina exclaimed. She loved to try new things.
As quickly as she could, Marrow put together a bowl of peppers and scorpion meat. She doused her own bowl with ghost pepper sauce, and put it on the side if Afina wanted to add extra spice.
"Eat a little bit at a time." She advised.

Afina nodded. She ate a first bite slowly and it burned her throat and mouth. It tasted delicious but it was so spicy. (I know that feeling too much:lol:) She quickly used her water powers to wash off the spiciness. "It's good." She strained.

Marrow looked at Afina's red face. "Hmm..." She handed her a glass of cold water from the water storage. "When you're finished, come downstairs to the basement."

After gliding for what must’ve been hours (but was really only 15 minutes, Petrichor tends to be impatient) Petrichor noticed a strange, suspicious smell…salty. Squinting as hard as she could, she looked far off into the distance..and sure enough, she could see a thin blue line marking the edge of the ocean and the end of the endless canyons. Water! I’m saved! She thought at first, until she remembered one particularly important detail…the ocean was poisoned. Petrichor groaned . Just when I thought it couldn’t get worse, now I’m stuck between poisonous ocean or endless canyons. Great. Either way, she turned towards the distant salty smell in hopes that she could find her way back to her own territory.
Petri flinched as hot sand curled around her ankles, seeping into her scales. She crinkled her snout and shook herself like a dog, trying to shake off the sand but only managing to further cover herself in it. She growled and wondered how she had gotten herself into this situation. She had landed on top of the highest dune she could see, though she was still a good distance from the ocean. She decided she was better of not going near to the poisoned water, although she could feel a slight cool breeze coming off of it at this distance. She craned her head around in every direction, but she saw no sign of her territory, in fact, she saw no familiar landmarks at all. So much for finding my way back home from the ocean she thought, glancing behind her again just to double check that she hadn’t somehow missed anything. I have to go somewhere, I can’t just sit here she concluded, and lifted off of the dune into the air, flying down the beach. She was oblivious to the fact that she was flying in the wrong direction, farther away from home and towards Solosis territory.

"Hello there!" a voice called from the sands below her. "Are you lost?"

Petri screeched and nearly fell out of the air. Did that sand dune just talk? Am I going crazy? She thought. Landing clumsily on the beach, she glanced behind her, looking for the source of the voice. “Hello? Talking sand?” She called out nervously.

"Sorry for startling you! No, just me." the voice chuckled. She turned to see a large, strongly-built Enfernae looking at her. "Hi! I'm Ocavo."

Petrichor let out a slight sigh of relief. “Thank Goodness, you’re not sand.” She said. She approached cautiously, grateful to see another dragon but also concerned since she was trespassing on his territory. She didn‘t leave home much, so she wasn’t sure if the other tribes were tolerant of outsiders. She realized she should at least introduce herself “I’m Petrichor. You know, like, the smell of rain” she explained. “I’m also…kinda lost. You don’t happen to know where we are, do you?”

"Nice to meet you!" He grinned again. "Welcome to Enfernae land! That's why it's so dry and hot here. You're an Aerattl, no?"
