Marrow smiled, happy that she could have helped Afina. "Isn't it at all hot?" She tested the water, but it felt very cold. "That doesn't make any sense... It must be the crystal!" Marrow breathed on the pool until it was boiling. "I hope this isn't to hot for you..." She said, jumping in aside Afina.
"No, it's fine! I love to swim in hot water." Afina smiled. Afina felt some weird sensation coming from her back scales. She looked at them and noticed that there was a small crack through her heavy scales. She was going to transform into a beautiful Imago soon. "Marrow, look!" She said, looking at her back scales.
Marrow gasped. "Oh, my! Maybe I should get out of the water- I'll want to leave you plenty of room when you crack!"
Afina nodded. She couldn't contain her excitement. The crack kept growing bigger. It would be soon.
He opened his eyes and stretched his tiny little wings again, “hungwy!”
