Cursed Waters- A Dragon RP

"No, commander. It seems he's had a change of plans."
“Okay. Tell Azira Apollyon said to begin the attack without him. Flint needs to go for backup. He’s in the 203 chamber. I’ll finish locking up.” While the other clones locked Basalt down in his cell, Onyx grabbed the key set and locked the door behind them.

(Ace and her grandmother are where their hiding. Shilah is the only one bye the cave entrance.)

Shilah: are you ok??
( oh ok!)

“ not in the slightest.” He answered, then again. “ yes physically, but what are we gonna do about those guards?!” He said, wishing he could just take them all down at once.

Current swam through the salty water. It seemed so long ago when it was last clean, she didn’t think she’d ever get to swim in water that wasn’t thick and full of black gunk. She rolled in the water, glad of the cleanliness.
Kallitrax could see Solosis in the distance, his home. Roots now covered the ground, massive and sprawling in all directions, fires and debris covered everything. It was a horrible sight.

Current could now tell by the rocky, sandy ocean floor that she had reached Solosis. She poked her head above the waters to see the rough terrain. There was something uneasy in the air- an odd sense of something that was just.. wrong. She climbed onto land, wincing at sharp rocks on the shore. She clambered up the slope, getting sandier she went up. When she reached a high slope of ground, she could see the Great Cave in the distance, swarming with clones and fires marking their disruption path. She was shocked. She looked around to see if she could find Kallitrax in the air, or running on the ground.

( I don’t remember when or where I may have said this, but I don’t think Kallitrax has wings, so from now on at least. He aint got wings 😆)

Kallitrax was approaching the Great Cave, his foot steps giving a resounding thud as he came closer. A roar ripped from his throat, calling for any Solosis nearby to come towards him. He wouldn’t let the clones take over his home without a fight. A few Imagos from Solosis emerged from various hiding spots, rock piles, trees and several came up from a deep lake, which was another exit from the Great Cave. All of them came toward Kallitrax, expecting Basalt and when they did not see him, they turned to Kallitrax. “ monarche Basalt is in danger, it seems the infernae clones and that blasted appollyon have taken him somewhere as prisoner. They think they’re winning that easily?!” He cried, an uproar of anger splitting the air. The crowd needed encouragement, so that’s what he’d give them. “ This is Our home! They might have our leader, but WE can get him back! These clones may have fire, but we have our freedom! And that can not be so easily put out!! Who is with me!? For Basalt! And For Solosis!!” Kallitrax shouted, a determined and pleased look spreading across his face as the group of around 35-40 Solosis cheered and roared, their hope and determination rekindled, and with a fire of their own, they turned their eyes toward the invading clones.

Marsh had came when he heard the call, listening to his half-brother and feeling a spark of pride. Together, they marched toward the infernae clones.

( hope that wasn’t too much, I just felt like no one was giving Solosis a good fighting chance. It felt kinda…. Doomed. Also he’s not so close that throughout this scene, the clones could like come and attack them, they’re a good distance away.)

(Did you read what Basalt did though?)
@the_peanut_coop
(Vixen in the lab- Basalt just left and is headed for Solosis)
@Anime2lover
(Idk where Ace is- wasn’t Shilah helping him?)
@Bakbuk
(Tank is attacking here, maybe you can send a clone to run Ace and Shilah towards Marsh. Btw, don’t forget about Moss!)
@Crestcrazy2
(Marsh still protecting the nursery? Maybe he can find Shilah trying to protect Ace)

Basalt flew over the rocky terrain, his wings aching from so much flying this past week. Even then, he flew faster. He had left a guard with Ace, and he had been aching to make sure that the little wyrm was safe in the nursery. He flew quickly to the Great Cave- where a shock overtook his large frame, sending a freezing buzz through his body.
Clones.
Everywhere.
In the Great Cave!!
He roared in anguish when he swooped down and spotted the dead guard right outside the Cave entrance.
Furiously, he rolled into a ball midair and plummeted down the earth where he landed with an earth-shaking thump. Quickly, he spread his talons out over the ground and felt the vibrations in the ground. He sensed the clones, walking single file with the same familiar pattern on the inside of the Great Cave. Then he sensed his troops deeper in the Cave- most of the ones hidden in the ground and floor dead after their failed surprise attacks. The others had regrouped and were trying to use the tunnels to their advantage, but the fiery Enfernae were sending them fleeing with bursts of fire. Summoning all the power he could muster in his heavy frame, he called on the energy in his tree far down in its cave…
And with a sudden rumble of the earth,
It responded.
Thick, winding branches broke through the roof of the ceiling in front of the Enfernae clones, leaves blocking their view as thin, tough roots shot out of the ground under their claws, entangling their talons and meeting the branches halfway as they locked together in a thick wall between them and Basalt’s dragons.
Struggling to hold power over each branch and root of the tree- the moment the wall was completed, Basalt released his grip of power on the oak tree and gasped for breath.
He staggered a moment, light-headed.
Before collapsing in the sand-
unmoving.

(Drama- I know! But I got so into it!)
Current ran onto land- towards the Great Cave. She spotted a cluster of Solosis dragons and veered off in that direction. She spotted Kallitrax encouraging the earth dragons to defend their home and smiled. Some of them turned, surprised, when they saw an Aquation in their midst. “Hey, it’s an Aquation!” A dragon shouted. “Get rid of her, she could be cursed!” Another shouted. “Careful! She’s dangerous!” A third cried over the noise. Current barred her teeth. Dragons looked at her so much different since the Virus, they were turning on her rather than accepting her!
