After not feeling the shock of Apollyon’s raised spear through his body, Basalt finally struggled upright to see the three monarches grasping a deep, glowing, purple stone. His eyes caught the light blue dragon that worked for Apollyon, Azira, clutching his green Watchstone and he suddenly knew that three of the four stones must’ve been combined.
Basalt grunted and tried not to stumble as he, with halting steps, made his way over to the three leaders. His face was twisted in pain; he knew he wouldn’t be able to fly off the mountain.
“Give me the stone!” He shouted at the Enfernae, not knowing about her change of alliance. “If you don’t, Apollyon will end us all and you might as well have wished Draconat to not exist in the first place.”
 
I’ll show y’all this.. it’s just one drawing in a big project I’m working on. :D
I already showed peanut in the main art thread.

*azira looked toward appylon, seemed he jadn't spotted them. She quickly passed it over to him. She was relieved to feel the energy leave her body as she passed it to him.*

Basalt took the stone and shuddered with satisfaction as the chillingly familiar energy swept through him.
He could feel the pull of the amethyst stone as the green Watchstone tugged against his grasp. Basalt looked up at Vixen and nodded, ready to end this.

Apollyon, seeing what was about to happen, shouted "NO!! YOU IMBECILES, THAT POWER BELONGS TO ME, AND ME ALONE!!!" As he tried a last desperate effort to use his powers to remove the stone from the monarches' talons. Strain as he might, it was impossible.

So he stepped back, to all appearances accepting his fate and preparing to meet his end.

But if one had looked closely, it would've been observed that, with a twitch of his left talon, the great red dragon had directed his power elsewhere.

Towards the cave where the Aerattl citizens were taking refuge.
