Cut on foot

I noticed my pullet was limping, when i picked her up i noticed she has a little cut on her foot. I soaked her foot in some warm water to help clean her foot but now i’m not sure what to do. Please help

She might have stepped onto a thorn or similar, so inspect more closely and try to pull it out if that is the case.
Disinfect thoroughly afterwards to prevent infection.

I would say just spray something like vetericyn on it. Keep it clean and dry. It really doesn't look bad from what I can see, but maybe its deeper than I think. I would just say keeping it clean and dry are most important and keep your eye on it. It should heal fine if its just a scratch.

you could also you iodine without chlorine in it

Could i possibly use like cut spray for humans? Like bactine? should i bandage it after i clean it thoroughly?

I ended up looking it up and bactine or anything that ends on caine or cane is toxic to chickens. I went to the local feed store and luckily they had the vetericyn

just use some alcohol and Vaseline and try to keep her feet clean. maybe put a bandage on her foot.
