I put this rooster outside in his own pen each day. When I was putting him in his pen he was alright and had no cuts or wounds. After around 4 Hours i went to check back up on him and found his comb being like this, the bleeding had already stopped, however i don’t know what happened to him.The wound probably occurred a hour before i checked on him.

I don’t know what to do though, what should I do, I sprayed Vetericyn spray and added triple antibiotic ointment, I even tried adding a little blue cote with my finger.
I also don’t know what to do about that hanging part, Its turning black-ish.

It is black because it is dead/dying. You can clip it off, or it will fall off on its own. Spray it with Vetricyn. Make sure the wounded part stays clear of dirt and infection. He is in his own pen? Check for sharp objects because something cut his comb. Hope this helps!

Could it possibly of been because of the fence? I searched around and nothing else is sharp, since his comb was big he might of stuck it in there and got it stuck and tried taking his head out but instead cut his comb.
Also do you think I could possibly place a gauze and small tape on his comb to prevent the possible infection?

It would be better to either trim the black part, or (what I would do) leave it alone, and use some Vetericyn or chlorhexidene spray on it a couple of times a day. Watch out for flies.

Leave it alone, It will fall on its own?I looked it up online and found people talking about infection though. The flies are a problem for me too quite a bit of them this time of year, be aware of the flies because of how dirty they are or because they might do something else?

Wow, that is some comb!!

He has obviously caught it on something.

Don't panic, and as advised just spray and leave it. It will drop off on its own. The spray will prevent infection. It's a teensy tiny wound and not on a foot where it gets trodden in dirt all day. It will be fine.
