tuffoldhen, is Fraizer a himi?, we has one

this is Sushi, he's about 5ish years old, we got him last year from a, excuse my lack of better words, Sleezy petshop, the man who owns(should say owed it, he got shut down by the humane society LOL), said that Sushi was his "parteners" cat, well apparently she died, so he sold off all her critters, Sushi was the last to go, loving huh?

we all call him smooshy, or squishy because hes so darned fat, not an ounce of muscle anywhere, he has man-cat-boobs!, he doesn't like dogs, or other cats, he hyperventilates when he gets too scared.

and pretty much sleeps..ALL day

(this is an OLD picture, of the DAY we brought him home LOL)

this is Jasmine her old "street cat" name is "Momma kitty".
she is about 10-12 years old, not sure exactly, she was a city stray in WV where I used to live, she was intact so had had many litters of kittens, she had a litter last year when i moved up here, but it wore her down so badly the kittens had to be seperated early, and she was allowed to rest, and then was spayed,
she now lives the comfy, if somewhat boring life of an indoor cat

and this is Keebler, AKA Keebs,Keeby, KeeblerFudge, and newly named by the shelter when he got neutered earlier this month, Kibbler and Kebbler!

he is about 6 months old, he got him from a person deveral towns over, fredricksburg for all you Virginians, who didn't know when they were born, didn't know how old they were, or if they had even bee socilaized, wich Keelber really wasn't, he was kinda feral.

lets see, what can i say about this cat other than he is probably #3 in my list of "favorite" cats, cats being I'm REALLY close to, I love ALL my cats, but cats that have stolen my heart.

he knows to come to his name, he doesn't get on counters, the babies things, he uses the litterbox faithfully. he's just an all around good cat, and as you can see, very lazy

for times sake I only did the indoor cats, but can do the outdoors too LOL

Well, I thought my cat Sam had this contest licked (ahem) until I saw Mr. Q and read his story.

While I was waiting to pick up my cat after he was neutered, I wandered into the cat section of the animal shelter (oh-oh) and there was Samcat. Fully grown, standing at the cage door drooling, with a purr that could be heard all the way to Fresno (California). He has twenty-eight toes. Who could resist?

Sam is quite talented not only at drooling and purring, but at sleeping as well. We have been forced to name his sleeping poses, as in "Honey, Sam's doing a Pile-driver with a Half-gainer! Come see!" or "Oh, look! A Tallulah Bankhead!" My avatar is Sam doing the "Glee Kitty." Sam, like Mr. Q, loves his dogs and joins the pack as they trot down the long driveway to get the paper or bark at people with the temerity to walk down the street.

The "Cha Cha Cha":

Sam prefers sleeping on rocks, cords, shingles, or other objects with his soft, white underbelly exposed. Notice the thumb on that cat:

Everyone has such cute kittys! Here's ours:

Kitty. She passed on about 5 years ago but we still miss her.

Daisy:

Tinkerbelle, Daisys litter mate:

and Lucky, astray who adopted us in 2001:

My husband and I lived in Silver City New Mexico, right before September 11th. I was volunteering at the animal shelter there, and usually just dealt with the dogs, but one day, they needed help with the cats, and I found this awesome, amazing kitty. I wasn't supposed to fall in love, but even my husband did, and now we've had Miles, our Bombay mix, since 9/11.
He is the once in a lifetime cat, knows his name, comes when called, and is our 2 1/2 yo's best friend.

I completely understand people wanting to clone animals because of him.

These pictures don't do him justice - he weighs about 16 pounds of pure sugar, he's our house leopard!
