Cute Cat/Kitten Contest

When we built our barn, we adopted two year-old calico cats from the Amish. Both kitties were already pregnant, so we raised two beautiful litters and kept a baby from each. Our four barn kitties keep our property cleared of small rodents and are very loving and entertaining. Three of them are calicos (my favorite color - probably why I raise tolbunt Polish. ) and one is a tortoiseshell.

OMG such pretty cats!

thats why i love callies and Torties, calicos are often called the "blank" canvas of the cat world, they can throw SO many colors of kittens, same with Torties.

This is One Eyed Willy. He was born with only 1 eye, and has seven toes on each front foot. (Very double pawed lol). I also think his hearing isn't great. He is about 12 weeks now and I adopted him from a shelter in NH. As my brother says...also answers to "Lucky" haha

This is Bella. She is a girl who loves to play with her schnauzer Dixie. I got her from a co worker last spring.

this post makes me miss having indoor cats! Or house is overrun by 4 dogs now and the cats would rather live outside. Who could blame them! I will have to nab some photos.

Here's Petunia – one of the kittens in my baby Trixxie's last litter. She was a cutie. She got to go with her little sister Violet to a family with two girls. I'm sure Petunia and Violet are being spoiled!

They were such sweeties! She is 8 1/2 weeks here.

This is Marlee a female tortie that we rescued from a local shelter. She is about a year old and is an absolute love bug! She loves the outdoor the most out of our cats and is the sweetest kitty ever

This is Lexi who is also a female tortie who is about 2 years old. We also adopted her when we saw her at the petsmart adoption with her orange tabby brother Thomas, who died from a scorpion last year

She is an evil kitty and chases Marlee and Roxy alot

But she loves people and loves to be pet and held and she sucks on her belly and has since she was a kitten

We think it comforts her because she was taken away from her mom too early...

Roxy is Marlee's sister, although they look nothing alike!! Roxy is very shy but loves attention. She doesn't like to be held and when she is outside exploring she totally ignores you when you call her name

Our kitties are totally spoiled! They have there own "barn house" that has AC for the HOT summers, a big couch, and even a frigde

I love all of the adorable kitties so far!!!

Oh, you had to go and ask...

Here's my cat, Weasel. He weighs in at 28# and he's heavy, but not all fat- as you can see by comparing my head and his!

He could eat all the chickens he wants around here, but he loves watching them and reading about them instead, and eats my squirrels and bunnies...

He also spends time soaking up the sun to attract the babes...
