Lol, we got tired of having fleas in the carpet, so ripped it all out and hubby laid this floor!! I like it too, smells better in here, as well!

Chief is a big ol' baby! He's about a year and a half old, and that's HIS puppy!!! Piddle chews on his lower lip, and he just hollers and takes it! Great with the kid, and so smart it's unbelievable. I've never had a dog this smart before!

Piddle is learning how to manipulate that thing around. You can hear her coming through the living room and kitchen clunk-clunk-clunk.....lol

How cute. I love that the Doberman looks so protective of the puppy in the pictures. I had a friend whos dog broke its leg while jumping for a ball (landed wrong coming back down). It ended up costing over a thousand dollars to fix. Even a little bit sucks when its paycheck to paycheck. My dog will always get her food, treats, toys even if I have to cut back to noodles at some times.

The things we do for our pets. Hehe I hope she manages to keep the cast some what clean!!

No chance of that, it's already pretty dirty! I did put it in a Wal-Mart bag when she went out, but she's getting it dirty somehow.

Supposed to go back to the vet in a week so they can check on that, will likely re-wrap it as well, they said that pups her age grow so fast, they can't leave the same one on.

I'm guessing this is gonna cost more....would be nice if it was included (maybe it SHOULD be!). Ah, I'll manage, I guess. I'll struggle for a couple of weeks, but I don't like asking DH for his money (we keep all that separate, and go in half on the bills), but he will have to feed us for a while.

Dang, wish WE could get food stamps!! People take that for granted!

Cute pics of your two together!

We had a German Shepherd who broke a leg, so this warning comes from experience. Keep it dry. Our dog got her cast wet, and when the cast came off, she had significant skin breakdown on her foot. It healed up nicely, but it was a very nasty, unhealthy foot, that was revealed that day.

I was way too blase about allowing her to get it wet/dirty. Good luck! It's a pain to have to monitor it so closely, but you will be glad you did!

You don't asking dh husband for his money.....

Your babies are gorgous. I love the little rat! She is a cutie!! I had 1 for 15 years, and I miss her like crazy. They are worth every penny you have to spend on them!!

Lynn, thanks for confirming that for me. She's already gotten it pretty dirty, but I think we're supposed to go Monday to get the dressing changed anyway. I would do it if she didn't WIGGLE so darn much!!!

About the money thing, we always have kept it separate, for 11 years now, just so no squabbles come up. Everything we spend in regards to the house, we split, no ifs ands or buts about it. My gas in my car is my problem....same with his truck.

Anyway, enough about that. Piddle is definitely feeling better, the pain meds have helped her, but not quite as much as the flea pill the vet gave her. You can almost SEE her sighing "Oh, thank HEAVENS!!!! No more FLEAS!!!!!"
