CUTEST CAT COMPETITION -ends Apr 10th-

We are looking through the photos and placing them. Since the contest ends the 10th i will probably end up posting the results around 12:30 to make things totally fair. If there are any entries after they are judged we will look through those as well. This is such a hard contest to place, they are all so gorgeous and adorable

Entry #2 and 3. This is Meeka, a 12 yr old DSH. She is a bit of a spoiled princess. She will stand in front of the couch and cry to be picked up when she is feeling lazy. She only drinks water out of a glass, never a bowl. But we put up with her and she puts up with my daughter dressing her up.

Have you tried a water fountain for her? She might not be getting enough water if she only drinks from a glass. Cats are drawn to running water and more likely to drink from it. Don't want your kitty to get dehydrated!

Im willing to bet then she's still not getting enough water. Buy a cheapo water fountain and see if it works. My Sasha was always dehydrated when I took her to the vet and thus was prone to UTIs. Then I bought a water fountain and it changed everything. If the cheapo one works buy a quality one. Just make sure you clean it regularly per the manufacturer. Ours was a cheapo (I couldn't afford a good one) and it required cleaning about once a month with hard to get into places. The more costly ones can be dishwasher safe to my understanding. But at that time I was going to the food pantry for myself just so I could afford high quality cat litter and food for my baby. Anyways the motor finally crapped out about a month before her diagnosis so I never bought a good one but I would have if I hadn't had to lose her
