My kids have always been very respectful of animals, thankfully. When my oldest was little, he wanted to be an animal rescuer! Now I just wish they'd be a little more respectful of people. They're all at that talking back/pre-teen/young teen stage. I'm sure they'll outgrow it, but WOW is it annoying! I'm just happy they're still kind of little. They're growing up way too fast! I'm dreading the day they go off to college!

Ok, another cute chicken name. My nephews always name a chicken Peeper, whether it's a girl or a boy. They free range their chickens in a very wild area, so Peeper never seems to last longer than a couple of years. The next chicken they get is always called Peeper! It's especially funny because they can't say their "r's" yet.
