Brownie and Bossy were inseparable, they always reminded me of a little old married couple. Bossy would find treats in the yard but call his girl to come and eat them instead of eating them himself. She adored him, following him everywhere. They seemed to ‘cuddle’ often, with Brownie laying her head against him.

Unfortunately we had to rehome Bossy as we live in the suburbs. She has been lost ever since even with four other hens in the flock. They were so lovely to watch.

They are so sweet together! I'm so sorry that you weren't able to keep Bossy....that's heartbreaking. No rooster rules make me so angry.

I worked very hard to find him a lovely home but it still broke my heart too honestly he made less noise crowing than some of the neighbours nearby dogs do barking!
