Something I guarantee you do not know about me.

A deer jumped through my closed bedroom window and ruined our house.
You know, I can honestly see that happening!

One time the Turtleman had to get this 8-point buck out of a grocery store because it ran through the window

Well, ya know how I said a few days ago I was 6 away from 2,000 ovations? Turns out I looked wrong and I was 106 away. NOW I am at 2,000. :weee

Now, about the deer. On December 3rd, 2013, we were enjoying a lazy Saturday, I had just finished making my mom a wreath out of pine branches and was shoeing it to her when I heard a really loud thumping on the earth, ya know, the kinds that makes your chest feel weird. 2 seconds later I heard crashing glass. I ran to see what was going on, and my 7 year old (at the time) brother was sitting in the lawn with one hand raised above his head and his face white as a sheet. ''There is a deer in the house'' he yelled. Now I honestly did npt believe it for a second. Really? A deer in the house? Haha, funny joke. I heard crashing inside and my mom yelled to my dad to get his gun, (which is a pitiful 22 gauge shotgun and the only ammo he cpuld currently find was birdshot) he ran in the front door while the deer was still wrecking havoc in my room and splattering blood everywhere. He ran in his bedroom (BTW, my 18 month old little sister was sleeping right across the hall) and came out of hs room to see the deer charging up the hallway, where it ran into the kitchen and headbutted the glass door, every window, and leaving deep, deep gouges in the wood floor. Then it ran in the living room, crashed into our huge lego set, jumped on the couch and slammed into the windows. All in about 30 seconds. My dad shot at the deer 3 times and it finally died in our hallway. Our house was so wrecked we could not live in it for three days. When we moved back in, all 4 kids had to share a bedroom because our bedroom was a wreck, with blood and glass everywhere. The carpets and floors had been pulled up, so we walked on pressboard. It took us 2 months to repair all the damge, and just in case a deer ever runs in your house, your house, Farm Bureau insurance only covers Elk damage, (What the heck guys, we live in VA) and they only cover damage part of the house. So couches, beds, and other stuff that needs to be replaced comes out of your pockets.
