Yeah. The breed's called a Crested. But the actual "crest" grows from a hole that's invisible to our eyes in the skull. And the Crested gene is lethal, so like every 25% of Crested ducklings die in the egg. Around 50% die after hatching from neurological disorders. In other breeds, a crest shows up due to a mutation in their regular gene pool.

Yep, crests are very sought after and yet deadly. If you breed two crested then something like 25% die from a double crested gene 25% aren't crested and 50% are and some of those might die later from numerological damage.

WHAT?!?! You learn something new every day, but that is so sad!
