Best of luck James, I've learned to live with it and as I've gotten older I sleep more. The challenge is that often the body is done, but the mind keeps going.

Waking up at 2am tomorrow to go to a swap to offload some cockerels. And meeting someone Monday to offload another. By Tuesday, all extra cockerels will be gone (thank God).

Next year, I'm just killing the young males. So much work otherwise.

I'll probably be awake until 5ish AM, since I last fell asleep around 4 AM, and 3 AM the night/morning before. I usually can't fall asleep until about 25 hours since I last fell asleep.

James, I'm sure someone would take your Ayam Cemani Cockerels, have you posted in the BYC Buy,sell, trade forum it's free since you have well over the necessary 20 posts.

James, when I was in the hospital many years - they tried Ambien on me. They said they only try it in the hospital first. People otherwise can be having bad side effects like sleepwalking, etc. and get injured or worse.

I don't recall that it worked for me at all BUT, I would pretend to sleep in the hospital so they ignore me. Only worked when the doctor came by. My favorite nurse bent over and said "I know you're pretending." Of course I opened my eyes and we both laughed.
