I am raising Belgian Bearded D’anvers and am unsure if the quail coloration is autosomal dominant or recessive, or sex linked. Can anybody help me out!? Thanks in advance!

Not entirely, the pattern quail is a combination of Columbian(incomplete dominant autosomal) and eumelanin enhancer/s(recessive and dominant depending on the breed), in this specific breed the genetic make up is eb/eb, Co/Co and cha/cha(autosomal recessive charcoal, very similar to Melanotic)I believe it is autosomal recessive.
You'd get black birds with some leakageThank you so much! Unfortunately, I’m a chicken genetics noobie
So in this breed, quail is a combination of 3 diffferent genes? What would happen if say I cross a quail with a solid black?
