I've got a pair of snowy coming from Matt supposed to arrive tomorrow morning. Woohoo. New unrelated lines! All thanks to a awesome BYC friend paying it forward!

I did the float-test and it rocked back and forth. I still see some veining in the shell and I witnessed it pushing against the air cell membrane, so I think it's just a late bloomer. A very late bloomer. I put it back in the incubator and I'll check on it throughout the day.

Here's the new baby! (Don't worry, the heat is cranked up to 85 and the humidifier is on full blast. She was also only out of the bator for ten seconds while hubby took the shot.)

This lil' cutie is a real spitfire! Not even five hours old and she's walking around, drinking and even jumping. She tried to launch herself right out of the brooder when I got up to fetch a fresh heating pad for her. She landed on her back and was able to right herself instantly! Wobbles sure couldn't do that at that age - he still kinda sucks at it, actually...

Eeeeeeeeee and she has webbed feet. I love her already.
