I'm not sure if this picture helps capture the size difference since there is fencing between them but I took this earlier.

It does. It's substantial. They are beautiful little minis. And I am impressed with Henry's tail curl. I wanna see pix of your geese, too.

He is a TOTAL ankle biter when it comes to Hils. I admit it's kinda cute to see a tiny, toothless creature try to inflict damage, but it does get annoying real quick. I keep telling him Wobs might get better if he'd only try to assert dominance and "claim" me, but he refuses out of fear or hurting the lil' jerky-pants. Bean, on the other hand, adores him! My relationship with her is improving too, but she still nips my hands sometimes. But to Hils, she's putty in his hands. <3

I had a feeling that was the case. That little duck is fearless. And I can understand Hils' hesitance to dominate him. He is a bitty bird and wouldn't wanna hurt his little feelers or anything else. It's amazing how your kids gravitated towards you two differently.

Definitely something weird going on. I posted photos earlier this week that were there, gone, back, and now gone again. It wasn't anything I did with it since I haven't edited that post.

I wonder why BYC has that problem, and why it keeps breaking over and over?

I had a feeling that was the case. That little duck is fearless. And I can understand Hils' hesitance to dominate him. He is a bitty bird and wouldn't wanna hurt his little feelers or anything else. It's amazing how your kids gravitated towards you two differently.

Well if he were beak-tapping or ANYTHING then I'd accept that as a valid excuse.

Also guys, good news today! I ave Bean some coconut oil and fasted her overnight, no water, nothing. This morning there was NO SMELL at all coming out of her! She's not internally marinating in soy sauce anymore! Sorry chinese restaurants!

Probably something to do with how the servers are set up. Images are typically stored in a separate location and linked back to the page where they should display. If that location becomes unavailable, the images won't display until the location is available again. One possible explanation, but I don't want to bore everyone with IT talk.

Good grief, he's not going to hurt Wobbles. Something being small doesn't mean it's unusually fragile or will break if you breathe on it too hard. Wobbles is smart, as ducks are, and he's manipulating Hils just like a toddler learns to manipulate parents if they allow it.

If it fights, he just holds it in place and says things a duck can't understand (probably), and with some it helps if I leave the room. Some of them calm down if they don't have "mom" to run to when "dad" is scolding them. They're really very much like human toddlers that never grow up or learn to speak English.

My thoughts exactly. Ducks are built to be sturdy, even the teeny ones. Wobbles KNOWS he can get away with it, and much like Kaine is to Tevye, he's bullying the heck out of the "inferior" male, despite the fact that he's literally 200 times lighter than Hils is, LOL!

Hm. I know that much, but even so, if that server is losing the ability to "talk" to the host site as frequently as it has been, it looks like a larger issue is afoot. Either that or there's something fundamentally wrong in the site coding and it keeps breaking itself every maintenance pass. I'm leaning towards the latter since more often than not, the photos ARE viewable, you just have to finagle a bit with some extra clicks in order to view them.

Still, I'm not proud of myself. If this is how badly I flip out at a relatively common affliction with a straightforward method of treatment, I really don't wanna know how much I fall apart when a REAL emergency occurs. :/ Why does all your training and level-headed decision making go right out the window when it's your own?
