One of my cute and cuddly call duck hens got killed by a hawk today

Actually, I just noticed, it's the one in my avatar.

Oh, sweetie...I'm so, so sorry. ._.

Well, she finally held still long enough for me to take a picture! What do you guys think? Is she show quality? We ended up measuring her bill, it is an inch and 1/4 on the nose (no pun intended).

aw, she is quite cute!, i don't really get too in depth with it, i have good calls i have seen some that while cute are not a good representation of the breed.. too mallard like in size. I am sure those who show and are very familiar with conformation can help, honestly though unless you intend on showing it doesn't matter that much, breeding there is a demand for pet quality as calls occupy less space and feed than most ducks so are popular regardless.

The smallest call i own is Marmalade.. actually she has produced a daughter who is a complete copy of her(grey and in size)

That is her on the right... the left is Honey crisp, she is small too but bigger than marm, my blue fawn female is the largest, she's not "big" just bigger than these two...

a;sdj;alsjds;alj THEY ARE TOO CUTE!! I simply adore duskies and snowies, or any mottled feather pattern, really.

Also, Marmalade and Honey Crisp are such perfect names!

Does anyone have a great diaper pattern they could share with me? We've bought 3 already, spending as you can imagine $150 with shipping to Canada.... And they were all complete fails as my Abby is only 0.9lbs.... So I'm making my own!! But I need a pattern!
