Has anybody crossed the snowy pattern with a butterscotch or magpie pattern ?

Awww! Call ducks are adorable.

I would love some but I guess it's not a good idea having call duck with the larger duck breeds?

I keep calls together with Campbells and I've had no problems whatsoever. The Campbells are big enough to hurt the call ducks purposefully or accidentally; but everyone is happy and respectful of each others space.
Considering their size, call ducks generally punch over their weight.
They make up for their diminutive size by having boatloads of tenacity when it comes to the pecking order!

I was hoping to find a snowy, dusky or even a black one! It's also gonna be a house duck so that limits my options. Can't buy an adult.

Oh, yes! But I wouldn't dare take it if it was raised outdoors. Wobbles is a house duck and I'd never force a duck to live inside once it was used to the outdoors and vice versa. :/

I am going to be getting a couple of call ducks in a couple of weeks and I am digging their pond now what is the shallowest it can be?

I wouldn't make it shallower than a foot at the center, but you can use sloped sides. That makes it a little easier for them to get in and out rather than making the whole pond a foot deep.
