Da' Cute and Cuddly Call Duck thread!

Funny, I bred (but didn't show) bettas when I was a teenager... Well I tried to... Take the male out the bubble nest fails - leave him in, he eats the eggs.
Funny, as a kid I bred those, too. Sure have lots of good memories doing it.

No he is black yellow chest turning white his legs are black feet yellow with black patches top bill black bottom yellow I thought he was a Swedish but now the back of his neck is turning white with black patches, he has a little yellow on his face and he has outgrown my runners they were the same size when we got. I tried putting my 2 small ones in a tub beside the others we have them in large clear storage tubs and oh my goodness did they cry being away from the others. I'm not sure if they are call ducklings, they look like mallard ducklings or Rouen but they just haven't grown like the others have. They all get along wonderfully they have lived together for 2 weeks now I just noticed they have hardly grown

I wish I could put up pics but it says enter URL and im using my phone all pics are on it we have no computer so I don't see a way to get my pics up

On my phone, I have to switch to "desktop" mode to post pics. There's a button at the bottom of the page. Its harder to read of course, but I can choose pics, post, then switch right back to mobile. Give it a try.

It seems this has become "normal" now. Before the post office changed its distribution radically 2 years ago, Wednesday delivery was normal for live birds. Last year 2 of my 3 shipments arrived Thursday. Gro-gel used to be a reasonable insurance policy in case their was a delay. If Thursday is now "normal" and Friday is a slight snag, I would say gro-gel is a must! (I did get it with all of mine and they all arrived in tip top shape.)

It might be easier to trim the first "closed box" portion of the video off and start with your info not showing depending on what software you have to work with.

I have the Adobe suite, so I'm assuming there's a way to do it. I'm just not very well versed in video editing, that's my husband's forte. I do photo editing.

I didn't get that they had gotten along for 2 weeks, I thought you were just putting them together. They should know how to run away by now (before getting stepped on) so are probably fine. My Black Swedish has pretty uniformly black feet, but my Blue Swedish has feet more like you describe. Both of them have Black/Grey bills on top with a white/yellow under bill. And my Swedish were larger than everybody in my brooder except for my Pekin. Here is the Blue with some white some yellow in the chest and at that age, the yellow did wrap around her back... To me the markings you are describing sound like this but black instead of blue. By the way, it just happens my current avatar is the grown up version of this one.

Finally this picture is more grown-up but it shows the underside of the bill (back to the black one this time):

Awesome and beautiful! I hatched 4 ducklings, 10 days ago, that are Swedish. I think one will be black, one blue, and 2 splash. I think. Their bills are every variation,1 solid black, 1 solid yellow, and 2 speckled (one a lot more than the other). Their feet/legs are also the matching variations of their bills. Such beauties. I'm glad I chose them. Can you tell me anything about sexing them? I didn't try vent sexing. Do the females quack louder than the males?

And don't forget egg ducks...  My duckies give me a mess'o'eggs :love   Wow! you show horses... That has to be crazy at the ribbon level - nope, disqualified, ear pointed the wrong way when I clapped my hands... LOL.
the horse show world can get interesting and at the raTed breed show's there tends to be politics.

I was a scribe a rated dressage show once where the judge gave higher marks to someone just because she liked him! Horrible test, should have had nothing but 4's and 5's, yet she gave all 6's and 7's.
