Sorry for replying so late. The safety hole was great, that was the right thing to do. If you don't see any more progress in the next twelve hours, I'd open the shell over the air cell entirely, moisten the membrane with coconut oil, and then just wait. When it's ready to hatch it should be able to push itself right through the membrane with no more help needed.
I chipped away a little of the safe hole over the air cell not near the bill (that way it can still "hatch" if it has the ability) because i wanted to see how the vessels were doing, and it brought me some relief to see it still needed a little more time, because this means it could still hatch on its own which is what i really want. However now (its been a few hours) it looks as though everything has been absorbed and it still hasnt even broken the shell! Very glad i made a safe hole. I hope it can hatch itself. That would be best.
