Sasimpson77 set 5 Dozen eggs!

SallySunshine had 45 chicks hatch and then get smushed in a Bucket! That is not good unless it is KFC buckets….

Discussed hatching temps. For still air, average of 100 top to bottom for incubation, 98.5 to 99 for hatch. Forced air incubators do not need to be averaged.

Jesshan8 posted pictures of an homemade incubator! Very cool! Post 628. Penny Hen asked for a diagram for wiring up an incubator. SS helped!

Buddy Phoenix lets the wife hatch the eggs. Quite tricky that one is….

Uphilljill found frozen eggs today. Well my place hat a funnel cloud a mile to the East last night! Even had a weather alert so there….PAchickenlover set 30 eggs on a cold day today. Chicken pickin was cold but also no mention of Tornadoes….

Penny Hen is going to convert a dishwasher into an incubator.

In the Afternoon we chatted and posted photos of Basque Hens and Pita Pintas. I love those two Breeds!

Corny Caleb float tested his emu egg and it moved! It is developing!
