Ducks will do what ducks will do. Five of my 14 Cayugas consistently lay eggs in the nest boxes. All but one of the rest lay their eggs in little nests they scoop out of their bedding. That 14th one holds on to her egg until they are out in their run and I have found hers on top of a bale of hay, in the kiddie pool, half buried in mud and somehow under a rock. Go figure.Found eggs near the "snacks" and under the trampoline yesterday. ..

5 eggs today. Had Duck egg pancakes again with bacon and poached duck eggs for breakfast. First time I have tried duck eggs poached... MMMMMmmmmm!
