Daily Duck Egg Report

I assume all eggs are fertile here, based on #s... But they taste just fine iMO. I think hey eggs I get here in superior in every way to the eggs I get from the grocery store, and that's what I tell anyone who has concerns. If all else fails, bake the eggs in a cake.

1 egg here yesterday, unfrozen but very very cold; 2 eggs on Monday but one was broken badly.

Had 0 monday, from ducks or chickens. That was the 1st time my ducks both didn't lay. Then yesterday, I got both duck eggs and 4 chicken eggs. Who can figure. lol

Love my 4 laying duckie ladies! Like clockwork! Every morning I'm greeted with their laughter and 4 eggs for past few months now! The "boy" is only 2 months old and hopefully the girls will keep him in line as he matures! Thanks for the info Kleo!

Only 1 egg yesterday and 2 today. They dont like the new straw bedding I think, I used to use grass hay but I cant get it anymore. I'll have to look around, they are probably sticking them somewhere else!

I had my duck eggs yesterday morning and when I went out later there was just a yolk laying on the ground, no shell or anything. I thought that was just a weird mishap, then I went out this morning and had 1 egg and again 1 yolk laying on the ground. Real confused

Is this ok or are 1 of my girls missing something in their diet? I give self feed shells and they get cracked corn, duck pellets, peanuts and spinach leaves right now.
