The most important things. We have coffee, running water, power.
I make a very good one inspired from one we had at a steak house, its ground ginger, orange juice, brown sugar, and a touch of soy sauce, simmered untilnits just a bit thick. The restaurant closed many years ago, so I'm digging into my taste memory.
I remember it had a citrus flavor -- orange, I'm pretty sure. There must have been some vinegar to cut the sweetness, I think. It was about the color of Italian dressing, but less oily. And ginger... ah... ginger.
I need your help to start one for me! I have been doing the research but im a bit out of my depth. Just trying to figure out if its realistic ATM. We have a basement i could set up a system in, or in the ground outside. But we are zone 6 so im worried the outside temps would be too cold unless I dug REALLY deep. Bu5 im worried about fungus gnats and mold in the basement... we already have to fight a constant mold problem down there, even though its not that damp. It just pops up on anything after a bit, even the tops of containers seem to get a fine layer of mold dust.REALLY complicated math, much more complicated than anything I've ever done at work - even when I was doing "rocket science". OTOH, I have a well pump, and 50' of pipe buried already. I can measure temp at the well, and temp at the output at a given flow rate, use that to do my calculations.
Seems like a plan.
