Sad news my little sweetpea passed away last night! . I wish I knew y! She was doing so great!

No eggs here I think they are taking there break before spring thank god I dont like frozen eggs!

Today I found 10 eggs, but 4 were froze.

1 Duck egg today. Congrats HDF on the great amount even with the 4 frozen.

3/6 duck eggs non frozen. I cook the frozen cracked ones for my dogs. They love them.

I had 2 yesterday and 1 was frozen. I was peeling it to cook up for the dog and dropped it, well the dog got it and chewed on it till it was gone. Guess it was kinda like one tasty ice cube to her. Now i'm thinking, do we have to cook them for the dogs like we do us or is raw fine?

My lab steals & eats raw eggs all the time @lbrykowski2011 ... Whenever she can, actually! I don't like her eating raw bcz I believe I read that dogs can get sick from salmonella, just like humans. Of course, we know that our flocks don't necessarily have salmonella infections, but still, better to err on the side of caution, IMO, and prevent dogs eating raw eggs when possible. Just my $0.02
