Honestly though, if I actually wrote a story about the characters that immediately came to my mind when you said the word, "unicorn", I'm pretty sure I would be disowned by 99% of my BYC friends for like, forever.

Ariel leaned back in his chair, admiring the excellent view of Gungan City the small cafe offered. Chewing thoughtfully on a piece of Shaak steak, he wondered what he was going to do with his life now that he had completed his Jedi training and was entirely independent.
"Where to, BB-12?" He absently asked his astromech droid, not really expecting an answer. "It's a big galaxy out there."

"Beep-beep-o-weeeep!" The little robot replied.

"Oh well that's all very well and good, if you have a taste for brutal ruffians and sky-high crime." He chuckled. Tatooine was definitely NOT a place he felt the need to visit anytime soon.
A Gungan walked into the cafe just then. "Ah, Aariiiiieelll!" He called out in greeting. "It'sa so good to be-a seein-ya man!" He said, plopping down on the seat next to him.
"Ohhh, or should I say, master Arrriiiiieelll." He gasped, admiring the young jedi's new lightsaber.
Ariel laughed good-naturedly. "It's good to see you too, Quibbar."

"So, what'sa yousa been doin?" Asked the gungan. "Besides jedi-ing."

"Oh, just making a few repairs to the Polaris and to ol' IGR-3. BB's been helping me with that." The little droid beeped proudly at the mention of his name.

"You'sa gonna be a leavin' now that yousa jedi master?" Quibbar asked, surprised. "Leavin us??"

"Well that's just it, I don't know yet." The young man sighed. These things were hard to explain to gungans.

"Yousa liar! You know you gonna be leavin us now that yousa gotta big ship and a big lightsaber anddd-dd-d-d aa--a" He stuttered and half-sobbed, not making much sense but not really caring if he did or not.

"No no Quibbar, I'm not leaving Naboo for at least another year or two! Now calm down." Ariel hated seeing his friend in such a state.

"Y-y-you areeeen't?" he asked, looking up hopefully.

"No, I'm not, so don't worry." Ariel grinned. "After all, I still gotta tame and train that Kaadu of mine, and who's gonna help me do that, huh?"

"Me! Me! Mesa help!" Quibbar shouted excitedly, almost choking on his own tongue.

"Good." Ariel said. "Well, no time like the present I guess." He said, standing up. "You coming or what?"

"Mesa comin!" The gungan said as he sprang to his feet.

BB-12, all but forgotten, beeped a few thoughts to himself as he picked up the dirty dishes and handed them back to the cafe owner at the counter, turning around to follow the two friends as they jogged down to the Kaadu paddocks in the central part of the city.

Me too!! I never knew how much I needed this creative outlet.

i always write a bunch of short stories so i challenged myself to do a long one.
i think im like 6 pages in and still going to thats a step in the right direction

I've written longer stories, I have one of them posted in my articles, but I have no patience for writing long stories when nothing is happening *in the moment*
