How about this one? It's inspired by one of my favorite songs.
"I don't want you, but I need you. You know it's you that brings me back here."
(Edited to make it a little longer)

"I don't want you, but I need you. You know it's you that brings me back here."
"Uh, yep," Macaw rolled out from under my SUV and grabbed a tool. "Ain't no other mechanic around here." He rolled back under. "And I need to pay off my bill, so we're both happy, hey?"
"Yeah," I walked over and placed my back against the dirty tire. Miss Kitty stretched from her perch on the tool-covered counter, giving me a look like she was every bit as suspicious as I was.
"But why?" I asked. "Why are you messing up on my car every single time? Everyone tells me to stay away from you, but my car won't drive far enough to find another mechanic."
A long silence followed. Even Miss Kitty didn't move. I stood there waiting, but not even a tool turned.
"Macaw?"
He rolled out and sat up. "So you're saying I'm a bad mechanic?"
"You stole Ted's engine!" I left the tire, arms out. "Yeah, I'm saying you're a bad mechanic! If you did your job right, I'd never come back! I need my SUV to get up into those Mountains, and no SUV means no job."
Macaw tapped his foot on the floor and glanced over his shoulder at his beloved cat. A silent chuckle in his throat pushed a smile onto his face. "So, you see what you're saying here," he grabbed my running board and pulled himself up. "If I did my job
right, I'd lose my only customer, correct? You don't want me, but you obviously need me, and I need you. I'm not going to lose you just because you can get a little further than Shiloh. It's a no-brainer, really."
I bobbed my head side-to-side and leaned back against my tire. He always won and there was nothing I could do about it. We needed each other so here we were, both working on his bill whether we wanted to or not. How I wish I never helped him pay off his bail! Probably could have afforded a brand new SUV if I hadn't!
"So there," Macaw sat back down on his roller. "I'll fix your SUV enough to get you up in the Mountains for a few days, and when something goes wrong with it, bring it back and I'll fix the part again. Sounds like a deal?"
I looked at his black ceiling and shrugged. If only the last mechanic didn't abandon his business to this outlaw. "Deal."
