Dang! What a response! RE: UPS driver

I love my UPS drivers....good folks! They don't drop the items off on the doorstep when it is raining. Some would even bring it in my house because I am unable to lift it in because of sheer weight of 50 lbs or more.

And not only that, those trucks and the UPS reminds me of the racehorse..........(sigh)! Was it Big Brown? Oh for heaven's sake, my mind farted!

About 20 years ago we wrote a letter to the chief of police and mayor of Houston complimenting a Houston Police officer who went above and beyond to help us out. Same thing like you gritty, we got thank you letters from all sorts of folks!

mr. birdaholic :

All of the UPS drivers in town here, are SUPER people..... except 1 that has a temper & insists on a temper tantrum with the boxes.

This poor guy has to drive down here all the way from Hot Springs every day. Not the kind of commute I'd enjoy.

Well the distribution guys out back that loads up packages......hubby told me about the actions going on there..........not pretty! Pretty much stupid if you ask me. If the box marked FRAGILE, they would deliberately drop them. Even with chemicals.

Hubby was yelling at them to be careful about fragile or perishable even live fish boxes......they still do it for kicks. Laughed and rammed the boxes on the shelf so tight the boxes showed stress stretch marks or tears. Even expensive motorcycles at the Harley Davidson dealerships. My sister's SIL works there at the front desk, the ladies there are very nice but they don't throw the boxes around like the guys out back. So front desks personnels and drivers get my thumb ups!

We love our UPS driver too he is the best and I always request UPS on delivers. Fed Ex is very rude and won't even come here and nothing is ever on time.

Well done Grits'. Our first UPS lady was a class act. Always cheery with a treat for the dog, etc. She became a family friend. Since her retirement the replacements seem somewhat disgruntled. They do their jobs but don't seem too happy.
