Danger of Canada Geese!!!!

Quote:
I am there with you! I love all my visitors in the winter. My mixed breed domestic goose brings them all here to eat. There are about 40 of them that will all hang out in my yard..about 12 of them on my side walk out front, 2 that come up on the front porch and look in with my goose and 2 ducks!~ They wonder all about, and they clean up my pastures!!

The geese don't normally stop near out place but I love watching them fly over, and they do make a crazy amount of noise.
(I still YELL for the kids to look)

Now and again I'll hear them at night, it seems perhaps they stop for a rest or something near our river.

They are God's creatures which were here before us...they have a purpose in life...unfortunately they can become pests if you feed them but they will eat there weight in grass hoppers and fly on to the next field if left alone...many airports have natural ways of keeping the birds away...

So do I!! It is funny because we see them ALL the time, but when they are close I yell for the kids to come see!! Of course they act so happy to come see them

I love the babies! They march them across our front field in the spring!

When it is time for them to go home, I yell to every group...Have a safe trip!! See you next year!! Fly safely!!

I took the mascot to the park in the next town over from us, to go see the geese. My husband stayed in the car... I heard comments every now and then.

"what are you doing now?"
"can you get in the car already?"

I couldn't help myself, they have peacocks and mini donkeys and such there as well.

I like Canada geese, I think they're beautiful creatures. I also love how they sound at night when they fly overhead.
