luckily I got mine into their coop before it got real bad. Woke up the next morning to take little bit aka sugar out to join them and the canopy I had over their pool was halfway over the neighboring fence.
Haha that sounds great!I am so very sorry about NewBert, he's a beautiful duck. I just wanted to thank you for your post. Strong winds will often blow our coop door closed after seeing your post yesterday I went right out and put a latch on it to hold it open. I don't know why I hadn't done it before. We have such tall trees in our yard that I have always been worried about one coming down in a storm. We already had a dog door on our garage installed by the previous owners of our house. We made a ramp and a small area inside where the ducks can come to stay safe if there are strong winds. Been working with the quacks this week on going up the ramp and coming inside...our drake is still nervous but the girls have been great (our girls will do anything for peas!).
