She is cute, jj, and nice picture, too, but of course, I think my girls are the best.

I can say that because it means I'm bragging on Aubrey, not myself!

Now, if they'd only lay an egg for me. Since Aubrey mentioned it, "plump" is the best word for my Penny the Pocket Pet. She is the roundest little thing. She'd rather be cuddled than eat, though. Never saw a bigger pet than she is, except maybe my black Ameraucana, Gypsy, who thinks she's a purse.

Yep they are pretty plump. I have a quail hen that is broody and she looks twice as fat as she was, just from being fluffed up all the time. My new camera does every thing for you if you and the chicken will just hold still long enough.

and yes, plump is the best word to describe them, That's the perfect built to a d'anver hen for me, I dont like the skinny breasted ones that much. These hens will give you your better pigeon breasted males. So they are the hens I like to use for breeding the best.

personally, I like the heavy black look, it's the yellow body I'm not fond of, should be a darker reddish color. Type wise he's not too bad though
