d'anver lovers, discuss the breed and post some pics!

Are these pictures good enough to get any ideas about what the chipmunk might be?

Thanks,
Roger
Sorry about the poor pics. I tried taking them with the cell phone real quick this morning. Below are some I took this evening with a real camera and outside for better lighting.
Quail on left, chipmunk on right
Chipmunk on left, Quail on right

looking like a bb red in over all pattern, if the breast gets a good salmon color to it, that bb for sure.
Sort of has a quail look to it in areas, but the hackle is pretty pale for one. Most likely a quail carring a bb red back ground

you pretty darn good at it looks like JJ

What is that pullet in the far back right on the second pic, almost looks like a lavender quail
Good eye!!!! It does look like a lavender quail but it came out of a porcelain X lavander cross. Its got that columbian hackle, quail lacing on its back and a tannish breast. I like it alot but not sure which way to go with it. Any Ideas using what I have already.

That is one handsome bunch of little roo-babies, JJ! You and I have the same luck.
Everybody has got to be good at something.

best I can see from that pic it does have a columbian look to it. You could go that route after you get your project birds done, or you colud go the lavender quail version pretty quick too I would think. That's one I've been wanting to do. Saw som from Belgium once, they were beautiful, made a very cool patter and color on them.... that's what caught my eye on it.... either way I dont think you'd go wrong
