Thanks. Regardless of size, I will definitely have these in my flock. So much fun.D'Anvers are shown in the RCCL (rose comb clean leg) class.

I had no idea, BTW, that Rosecomb was a breed. Still sooooo much to learn!

Yes, Quail is a color. The ABA recognizes 15 colors and the APA recognizes 9 colors. If you go to Aubrey Webb's site http://www.boggybottombantams.com You can see those and a lot more.Thanks. Regardless of size, I will definitely have these in my flock. So much fun.

I noticed that one, too, JJ, so I think I have at least one male in this batch, maybe two, but that one is the only one so far with a widening comb. Funny how you can see things in photos that you can't see in person, isn't it?Cyn- the chick on the left in the first pic looks pretty red and wide in the comb area. That last chick got a bad dose of the leg fungus. Hope it ain't contaigious.

Maybe it's because the picture is not running all over the place.I noticed that one, too, JJ, so I think I have at least one male in this batch, maybe two, but that one is the only one so far with a widening comb. Funny how you can see things in photos that you can't see in person, isn't it?
