No thanks needed. The birds speak for themselves. Even little Jenny and her slightly larger sister we ended up just calling "Sissy", after suffering from the worst case of cocci I've ever seen here and with Jenny coming close to dying, have about caught up in size, have gorgeous full beards, beautiful coloring and are both laying, neither having any trouble doing so. They come from good, solid stock.
Though I have my issues with the little roosters of the breed on occasion, the hens more than make up for their men-folk in the temperament department. They are the sweetest imaginable, sweetest I've ever owned, and I've had some real pets around here before they arrived. They are very structured in their enforcement of the pecking order with other birds, but I'd never fault them for that. In fact, I love seeing teensy Carly, my smallest hen, be "large and in charge" with every other hen and all the cockerels. But then, she's right there, tugging on my pants leg to be picked up and held afterward.
