Aubrey, the babies are doing well. They're a week old now. I have to get some pics of them for you. Such a cute bunch! Too bad someone backed out on their order. I'm sure someone will want those precious little ones.

I could only get pics of a couple of the mille fleurs and one porcelain--they moved into their new coop, in the big part rather than the brooder in the storage area, and we've been trying to get the whole setup into good order for them to be warm enough and access food and water. You can see the porcelain in the last picture with the bigger chicks, but I think I see the darkest mille fleur's bum in there, too, LOL.

Speckledhen they are adorable! I cannot wait to get my babies for BBB. I also have my first ever attempt at hatching with my broody. She is on 6 eggs and they are due on Easter! Very excited and cannot wait to see pics of yours as they grow

For all you d'anvers experts - I have a group of hatchery quail variety. Since about week two (they are almost 7 weeks old) one has seizures. I'm very familiar with seizures in dogs/cats etc so confidant in that. She/he is of course slower growing but otherwise fine. I've tried vitamins, niacin, etc. Any suggestions? I'm assuming it's a fluke thing and it's so stinkin' tame now kind of made a house chicken out of it (don't laugh). So, any thoughts?
Thank you. btw all the others are just fine as well as the silkies they were raised with - not deaths, no others ill, etc.
