d'anver lovers, discuss the breed and post some pics!

Pics
Aw, they're so sweet! I have pics of my 7 D'Anvers so all you D'Anver lovers can help me confirm the sex on these kids. They are just over 3 weeks old so I hope it's not too soon for this. One of the porcelains is confusing me because there is pink in the comb but it's really flat, not raised like the obvious males.

Hi speckledhen, I love them!! Cannot wait for mine to get older so I too can play the "Guess the roo" game. I'm by no means an expert, but I think the following could be roos, but we'll see what Aubrey says.

I am not willing to put money on any of them however. Keep the pics coming, love these babies

I agree, wish I got more of them. Maybe I will have a boy and girl and can make a few of my own

I wish I could have a rooster, then my little Olive could have some kids!

What I'm hoping is that I have no more than three cockerels so I can keep them all. If I end up with four boys and three girls, I may have to rehome one of them, so crossing fingers here that the girls outnumber the boys.

still a touch early to tell for sure
but looks like this Cyn

M1 ROO
M2 100% ROO
M3 not sure think pullet
M4 pullet
M5 roo

looks like a pair on the porcelains, roo first, but kinda iffy on both of them yet.

usually that wide bald gap on the forehead is a roo indicator, hens will get the bald spot too, but it's much narrower, 1-2 more weeks and you can tell for sure

oh, forgot to add, not counting nearly 100 chicks that went out this week, I hatched over 300 d'anver project chicks for myself this week, and have another 70 starting right now...Lord help me, I dont know what I'm gonna do with all these chicks, LOL

Yeah I do....but have all 4 or my 3' x 8 ' brooders full already of d'anver chicks and bantam phoenix projects, here we go again building more I guess....got over 500 in the incubator on top of that, and getting about 50-80 a day just on the project colors egg wise...we must be crazy..haha

hope to have a lot of new color pictures for everyone this fall.
was looking ove some of the older chicks today, look to have some nice ones coming along in the following colors already
iasbella buff columbians, columbain, blue buff columbian, lavender mottled, dun mottled, blue mottled, lavender silver quail, blue millies, creles, red pyles, brown red, blue red, blue cuckoo, dun cuckoo, dun
