d'anver lovers, discuss the breed and post some pics!

Hey, Karen, I already have 9 D'Anver eggs collected as of today. If you're not ready, may see if anyone else local is interested, but just thought I'd let you know!

I'm not quiet ready yet. Not knowing how our weather will be in the next couple of months. Its kinda nice not having a box of chickens in the house. ...as cute as they may be. Cyn is laying now. She is so pretty. Thank you for sharing.

I'm glad she's laying! Those porcelains are so gorgeous, aren't they? I have 10 Belgian D'Anver eggs if anyone is interested, with probably a full dozen by tomorrow, but I do not ship, so would have to be local pick up.

Cynthia if I hatch my prorclain eggs will they throw some milli chicks since they came from your predominantly milli split porcelain flock?

I know my porclain d'Uccle only throw porclain, but I didn't know if these being do closely related to your milli would give me both colors.

I have Rusty and the girls to give me milli. I was just wondering. I may have to hatch some and see. LOL Didn't I say I was going to wait yo hatch...

Not if they are from both porcelain parents...
Doesnt matter what they had in them. If they are borh porcelain they only make porcleian

Porcelain to mille makes all mille split for lavender

Porcelain to a split lav mille makes porcelain and milles aplit for lavender

Mille split by mille split makes porcelain, mille, and more split lav milles
