I am not sure what to use for her. Did you breed her? Silver quail to blue silver quail gives you about 50 percent of each.

She is from Boggy Bottom, but she was in an assortment batch...which is why I didn't know her color.

I have her under a Wheaten Ameraucana...

So, I wanted to plug them both into that calculator, but have zero idea what a blue silver quail is genetically.

yes, shes a blue silver quail.

on the calculator, select silver quail ( its on there)
select her mate
once the genetics section pops up under them go down to the one that is for the blue gene BL.
Click it to change it to blue.

then click calculate

but yeah, it will be the same out come as just a normal silver quail on there. Only difference is everything is shows will come in a normal black version and a blue version

yeah Cynthia
always in need of more pen space around here.
Think theres 35 or so varieties I'm sell from this season, and the rest I hope to get the numbers up enough on that I can off some next year finally.

here's this years list for those who are interested too. Might be easier

These are day old chick prices, eggs are half the chick price unless noted. All birds are bantam sized unless noted as large fowl. Egg shipping usually cost about $12 depending on distance and amount of eggs shipped. Chick shipping is by Express Mail ONLY. They just get to you way better that way. It, the box, liner, heat pack, grogel, and insurance that comes with Express is around $45 in most cases. Minimum order for chicks to be shipped is 12 large fowl or 15 bantams. This is needed to help with body heat only while in transit. Chicks to be picked up have no minimum.

Thanks
Aubrey

on the rare colors, some are very limited at this time. Basically higher priced, equals limited availability . I can tell you at the time of ordering what may or may not be available at that time.

KO SHAMAO, ASIL, and Malay bantams $50 dozen or $10 per chick

Cemani (ask for availability) $100 dozen for eggs or $20 per chick
I advise the chick route on these also, It allows me to send the best possible birds. though they are limited and another breed will be needed to fill the box for heat

Large Fowl PURE Fly Tie, Genetic Hackle Fowl
Pure, real deal hackle fowl. Be wary of people selling these on line, only 20 or so known people breed pure fly tie fowl. Of those only 2 of us sell to the public. Many scam on this breed. so be careful! fly tie are NOT long tailed birds!!

barred, and silver crele
$15 chick or $100 dozen eggs

eggs priced by the dozen can be purchased in lower numbers, just divide price accordingly. In other words, want 6? priced at $50 a dozen, 6 would be $25

Thanks again!

@Boggy Bottom Bantams Whoa, Aubrey, what a list! I didn't know you had LF Sumatra. I still have that black hen who came from a BBS Ameraucana egg/flock, lays brown eggs, has serious spurs and looks like a Sumatra, minus the gypsy face, if you remember her. When trying to puzzle out how she got out of that blue egg, I don't remember if I told you that I found out that the lady who sent me the hatching eggs got her breeding Ameraucana male from another breeder who used to raise blue Sumatras. Bingo! Fence jumper! LOL. That lunatic hen is about to turn 6 years old, crazy as a bed bug, half blind, flogs or bites at the drop of a hat. This gal:
