d'anver lovers, discuss the breed and post some pics!

Pics
A 6th D'Anver hatched. Another is pipped, not sure about the last two. I am completely in LOVE with these! I noticed one is really light and one is super dark with others sort of in the middle. Yes, I'd love more porcelains, but I may have to wait for a broody this time. I'm sick of bator dramas!

Sorry about your weather woes. It was just awful last night!

no prob, just let me know...
yep it was horrible here, there was no milli second without lightening, just a constant blue glow outside, 1 known tornado, and yes more trees down in the yard. Georgia Power said over 100,000 in GA were without power today!

Oh my Aubrey, tough weather there in GA. I'm glad that you are doing okay despite it. They say we were suppose to get storms today here in NH but nothing but drizze and fog all day. I just love seeing Speckled Hens pics and hope to hear that I will be seeing my new chicks soon. I finally gave in with my broody Silklie mix and put six fertile eggs under her. She is crazy determined and they should hatch on Easter if all goes well. I am hoping that I will have my new babies then so they can all grow up together.

Adorable!!! I am waiting for my order of chicks from Aubrey and cannot wait to see those tiny little things! They were always my favorite bantams, He will be sending me both Porcelain and dun Quail. I wish I could have at least three nore colors, but despite their size, lodging is an issue

A 7th D'Anver has hatched. I sure hope the last two are still viable, just late to the party. The one Buff Orp chick in the brooder with the others looks gargantuan next to the little ones, LOL. They are truly beautiful tiny chicks!
