i don't think the mouse is going in the coop, but i didn't think he could go through the hwc either! so i don't know because the camera only shows so much. and i think it only picks him up when he's on the ramp.

you will! you can do it!Not necessarily, we haven’t cured anything. Yet.
Definitely count their toes. Also look for a dead mouse - the one that dared try to nibble toes.i have a new useless fear that the singular tiny mouse is going to chew the chickens toes while they sleep. i read somewhere that it could happen and my imagination has taken that and ran with it
i know it's ridiculous because almost everyone here has had mice or rats but they also have chickens with toes.
on the bright side, i am aware it's irrational
i will still count their toes though![]()
At least you're working on it though. Not necessarily, we haven’t cured anything. Yet.
lucky!I posted a picture today on the thread how many eggs did you get today. I found a decent amount of eggs.
I got 1
But I only have 3 girls now![]()
I don’t want my chickens to eat rat. Bc rats are known to spread diseases. My chickens are scavengers and have access to the rat if its on the lawn. Im not sure if they would eat rat but i thought it was wiser not to try. Besides I don’t want a dead rat laying on my lawn anywaySorry to be dumb/naive - but why not just leave the body where you find it? Or is the assumption it has been poisoned and is therefore dangerous to scavengers (in which case it probably shouldn't go in the garden waste bin anyway!).
